Care In Our Office

Your first visit to our office will start with a Consultation. On your first visit to our office you will be welcomed as a member of our family and Char will greet you with a warm smile. You will be asked to fill out some forms (you can also find some of these forms here on our website) which will help us gain information about yourself and your condition. Dr. Terry Poth will then talk with you and ask you some specific questions regarding your condition to determine if chiropractic care may be of benefit to you or if you can benefit from the many other healing modalities that Dr. Poth is trained in.  If Dr. Terry Poth can help you, he will let you know. If Dr. Terry is unable to help you, you will be referred to another doctor in Bellingham that will be able to help you the most. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent. Examination After a thorough consultation in our office with the doctor, you will have a complete chiropractic examination. This will include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard orthopedic, neurologic, postural, and physical examinations.  The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that a better understanding of how chiropractic can help you. If necessary, the doctor may refer you for additional testing procedures.  The need for X-ray is considered on a case by case basis.  Treatment Most of our patients begin to see immediate results from the very first treatment.  Dr. Poth will do a full body assessment that consists of checking for nutritional deficiencies, allergy sensitivity, emotional release therapy, imbalances in the body, intuitively, and energetically with "The Yuen Method" Healing technique and Matrix Energetics. He can detect imbalances of the whole body systems.
