First & Follow Up Visits

 Welcome

On your first visit to our office you will be greeted by Char or Corina.  You will be asked to fill out forms (you can also find these forms here on our website-link to forms) which will help us gain information about you.

Consultation

Dr. Terry will review what you have written, then talk with you to get a complete picture of your health history, present concerns and your expectations for your health goals.  He will also ask you some specific questions regarding your condition to determine if chiropractic care or the many other healing modalities that Dr. Terry is trained in will be of benefit to you. 

 Examination

After a thorough consultation with Dr. Terry, he will perform a complete chiropractic examination. This will include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard orthopedic, neurologic, postural, and physical examinations.  Nothing will be done in our office without your understanding and consent.

X-Rays

Your specific condition may require us to refer you for x-rays to get a full evaluation.  X-rays can help Dr. Terry rule out more serious conditions or assist in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.

Report of Findings

Following your consultation and examination Dr. Terry will have gained valuable information regarding your condition(s), health concerns and goals.  In his report of findings he will let you know if chiropractic and/or the many other healing modalities he is trained in can be of benefit to you.  If Dr. Terry is unable to help you or thinks that additional therapies may be necessary, he will refer you for the appropriate care. As a reminder, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

 First Treatment

You will generally be provided with your first treatment at the conclusion of the report of findings.  Most of our patients begin to feel some immediate results from the very first treatment. 

Follow Up Appointments

At your follow up appointments, Dr. Terry will do assessments utilizing Motion Palpation and Applied Kinesiology to check for: structural imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, allergies and sensitivities, emotional imbalances, electromagnetic pollution, and toxins.  These imbalances can show up in the body in the physical, mental, emotional, psychological, psychic and spiritual levels.
